Welcome to another chilling episode of Carman's Crypt. Tonight, we share a listener submission from Dan Matthews of Lakewood, Ohio, who reached out to us with a story that will make you question everything you thought you knew about grief, memorials, and what might linger after death.

Dan's best friend Mike lost his wife and daughter in a tragic car accident—one that Mike survived and blamed himself for. In his grief, Mike commissioned an eerily lifelike sculpture of his lost family, spending his life insurance settlement on the memorial. What started as a coping mechanism quickly spiraled into something Dan still struggles to explain.

Moving figures. Whispered accusations. A sculpture that returned from the landfill on its own. And now, weeks after Mike's death, Dan finds himself experiencing the same inexplicable phenomena that drove his friend to despair.
