Abyss Awakening
When marine biologist Dr. Lysander Kovac secures funding for humanity's deepest ocean dive, his research team descends 35,000 feet into an unexplored trench where no human has ever ventured. Dr. Thessaly Campos an extremophile specialist haunted by her obsession with life's limits, joins veteran submarine pilot Caspian Webb and xenoarchaeologist Dr. Octavia Rodriguez on what should be a routine scientific expedition.
But the crushing depths hold more than ancient geology. The team discovers vast bioluminescent cities inhabited by an intelligent species that has ruled the ocean's abyss for millions of years. These pale, elongated humanoids possess sophisticated technology, complex language, and a territorial fury undisturbed since the planet's formation.
